Gopal Agarwal,Ph.D. is accepting the 2025 Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society – Americas Chapter (TERMIS-AM) Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow Award.

Congratulations to Gopal Agarwal, Ph.D., postdoctoral associate in the Schmidt Lab, on receiving the 2025 Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society – Americas Chapter (TERMIS-AM) Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow Award, a distinction given to only one postdoc annually.

Agarwal’s innovative research in biomimetic injectable hydrogels derived from decellularized human and porcine peripheral nerve tissues is advancing the frontiers of neural tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. His work aims to improve outcomes for patients with spinal cord and central nervous system injuries, combining material science and bioengineering to create next-generation regenerative therapies.
