Medical Physics Research

Research in Medical Physics at the University of Florida typically has a strong clinical component. Research is actively carried out by our faculty members and encompasses almost every facet of medical physics. Research spans from basic imaging research, to development and evaluation of clinical imaging protocols, MRI, radiation treatment delivery methods and protocols, stereotactic treatment, proton therapy, and more. Research is performed at numerous clinical and laboratory facilities across the campus and in conjunction with collaborators at affiliated institutions across Florida.
