This February, undergraduate Sharma Lab researcher Jessica Hornyak presented her work at the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) at the University of North Florida. According to the FURC organizers, “FURC is one of the nation’s largest multi-disciplinary research conferences. It is an annual event open to all undergraduate researchers in the state of Florida to present their research in a poster forum.” Jessica presented her work on a non-invasive ACL-rupture model of osteoarthritis.
Jessica traveled to and attended the conference as a part of the University Scholars Program as well as the Wentworth Travel Scholarship.
Well done, Jessica!
