Jessica completes her Qual!

To kick off the fall semester, Jessica completed her qualifying exam in September by presenting her proposal over zoom to her committee and a collection of lab mates and others from the department. Her thesis proposal was titled Evaluating the Efficacy of Targeted Manganese Dioxide Nanoparticles in the Prevention of Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis.

Over the next several years, Jessica’s research will focus on the use of manganese dioxide nanoparticles as a therapeutic treatment for osteoarthritis. She will work to characterize their antioxidative effects and efficacy as a treatment in vivo.

A huge congratulations to Jessica fro completing this milestone!
