Even our islets are sharing in the love today. Kerim Gattas-Asfura (Research Assistant Scientist) and Nicholas Abuid (graduate student) took this photo of an islet encapsulated in a nanothin polymer (the red color comes from the labeled polymer) that serves to protect it from immune recognition and attack
