Big congrats to Taylor Lansberry, a Ph.D. student in the Stabler lab, for her recent selection as a T32 fellow for the NIH NIDDK T32 Training Program in Type 1 Diabetes and Biomedical Engineering!
This T32 training fellowship seeks to facilitate collaborations between bench scientists and biomedical engineers at the doctoral level to help improve innovation in understanding T1D development, treatment options, and care. Taylor will collaborate with UFDI investigators on her doctoral work, which seeks to create 3-D printed multi-functional devices for islet cell transplantation. Congrats Taylor!!
