Congrats to Drs Weaver, a Stabler lab PhD alumni, as well Dr. Garcia, her current postdoctoral advisor and corresponding author, and the rest of his team, on their recent publication of our collaborative work on examining the impact of vascularization of macroencapsulation platforms. These results will help improve the engraftment of islet transplants that are immunoisolated from the host.
