Thank you to everyone who attended the Fall Welcome Event this August! We had a successful event as there were great networking opportunities for the entire BME family (students, staff, faculty, affiliates, collaborators and supporters).

Dr. Christine E. Schmidt, professor, J. Crayton Pruitt Family Chair & Department Chair, reviewed the successes from the past year and talked about plans for the future. The department celebrated the highest research expenditures to date, $11.2 million and having 10 female faculty!
