Congratulations to Adriana Del Pino Herrera for receiving the 2022 Certificate of Outstanding Achievement from the UF International Center. She was nominated by the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and stood out as an embodiment of an excellent UF student in academics and in community engagement.

Adriana’s research interests include learning about the mechanisms of resistance in cancer and how to develop better treatment schedules for cancer patients using mathematical modeling.

The International Student Achievement Awards Ceremony is celebrated yearly with UF’s International Education Week and is sponsored by the University of Florida International Center. Certificates of Outstanding Achievement allow colleges to recognize the exceptional contributions of a broader number of international students. She will receive her certificate at the International Student Achievement Awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
