Dr. Christine Schmidt Elected to Board of Directors of the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida

Congratulations to Dr. Christine Schmidt, Distinguished Professor and J. Crayton Pruitt Family Endowed Chair in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering, on her election to the Board of Directors of the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida (ASEMFL).

The Board of Directors of ASEMFL consists of ten members of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), one National Academy of Inventors member, and two deans. The academy’s mission is to address challenges facing the State of Florida and global society by conducting studies and engaging with the community to develop innovative solutions.
