The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering was thoroughly represented during the Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting October 11-14, in Phoenix, Arizona!

This year, Dr. Kevin J. Otto, associate professor, co-chaired the annual meeting! The department hosted one of the larger booths in the exhibit hall and had lots of visitors. There was a fantastic turnout of undergraduate students looking for information in regards to our graduate program and our student ambassadors did a great job answering questions and sharing their experiences here at UF BME.

We celebrated the awards of our faculty and the successes of our students this past year with our annual reception which was held at the Sheraton Grande Phoenix, Camelback A Room. Alumni, students, faculty, affiliates, industry partners and supporters stopped by for some popcorn, ice-cream and great conversation! Entertainment was provide by Scott Peeples Music.
