Congratulations to BME student, Aniruddh Ravindran, who was honored at the 20th Annual International Student Awards Ceremony this month!
Aniruddh was one of 15 students selected to represent the College of Engineering in the UF International Center’s annual ceremony. Selection criteria included the student’s GPA, professional and research activities as well as extra-curricular activities.
Aniruddh stood out as a nominee because of his ability to balance a masters degree in BME as well as a minor in entrepreneurship from the College of Business.
He is active in the UF Entrepreneurship Club as the Executive VP and in the UF Indian Graduate Student Association as their event director. Aniruddh was also was recently nominated for the 2014 Spirit of Gainesville Award for Entrepreneurship. In addition, Aniruddh is a volunteer for TEDxUF.
Not only does he maintain a good GPA in his studies, but Aniruddh also takes time to serve the community at UF making him a great example as a Gator Engineer!
