Congratulations to Dr. Ayse Gunduz who received an honorable mention for her poster presentation at the Frontiers in Bioengineering Symposium!
To continue the series of the Frontiers in Bioengineering Workshop (first held at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013), the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign hosted the Frontiers in Bioengineering Symposium September 8-9, 2014, in Urbana, Illinois, supported by the Grainger Engineering Breakthroughs Initiative at Illinois.
The goal of the symposium was to bring together leaders and luminaries in the field will come together to present the state of the art at the interface of engineering, biology, and medicine, and a glimpse of the future of Bioengineering research, education, and commercialization.
