The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering is proud to announce our newest industry partner, Arthrex.
Arthrex is a global leader in orthopedic surgical device design, research, manufacturing, and medical education. Arthrex develops and releases more than 1,000 new products and procedures yearly to advance minimally invasive orthopedics worldwide.
Arthrex’s corporate headquarters is located in Naples, Florida, where visitors will find a vibrant atmosphere of rapid product innovation, medical research and surgeon collaboration. The sprawling campus houses corporate and manufacturing operations and Arthrex’s premier Medical Education Center, an education destination for surgeons worldwide to learn about new products and techniques through hands-on surgical skills training programs.
Arthrex has partnered with BME at the Platinum level, the highest tier we offer our industry partners. This partnership includes undergraduate scholarship support, research and capstone collaborations, and substantially increased visibility for the Arthrex name and brand on UF’s campus. We are excited to welcome Arthrex to BME events, speaker and seminar sessions, student activities, and many other BME receptions and functions on campus in the coming year. As part of this multi-year commitment, we also anticipate an expanded partnership.
