The Graduate School Preeminence Award provides new engineering Ph.D. students with four to five years of full funding. Funding coverage includes tuition, GatorGradCare Health Insurance and a monthly living stipend.

The college awards the highly competitive GSPA based on the following criteria:

•    Evidence of publication promise
•    Strongly developed research area
•    Relevant professional experience
