Congratulations to Dr. Aysegul Gunduz, assistant professor in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering, who has been invited to join the editorial board of Frontiers in Neuroprosthetics as an associate editor.
Frontiers is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing open-access publishers. Frontiers in Neuroprosthetics, a subspecialty of Frontiers in Neuroscience and Neurology, is devoted to studies of brain-machine interfaces and neuroprostheses, and aims at bringing together the most outstanding work to develop and explore devices and strategies in humans and animals. Gunduz is currently working on a DARPA funded project to develop the next generation of neuroprosthetic robotic arms that will give the user haptic and proprioceptive feedback to accelerate embodiment for the user.
