Congratulations to Dr. Fuyong Xing, a former Ph.D. student with Dr. Lin Yang, who has joined the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics at the Colorado School of Public Health University of Colorado Denver as an assistant professor.

Xing earned his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Florida and his B.S. in informational engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University. For the past four years, Xing has pursued Ph.D. studies in the Yang Lab. His research is focused on biomedical image computing, biomedical imaging informatics and machine learning.
